After nine weeks of college football action, the College Football Playoff committee convened to determine the top 25 teams in the nation.Alabama is the unquestioned No. 1 program in the nation and currently sits at the top of the playoff rankings. Can Alabama be the first team to buck the trend?The Crimson Tide will get its toughest test of the season as Nick Saban and company travel to Baton Rouge to take on rival LSU in Death Valley. The Tigers sit at No. 4 in the committee’s first rankings and could conceivably become the No. 1 team in the nation with a win over Alabama this weekend.
