But he then thought it would also be a fun way to raise money for the NHS.He initially set out to raise just £250 but was overwhelmed by donations from fellow agents and friends and family, taking his current total to £900.20p.“I thought it would be a bit of fun for the kids and a way to raise some awareness for the NHS as well,” he says.“To see the excitement and pleasure on the kids’ faces is great. I leave the eggs on the doorstep, ring the bell, stay by the car and say ‘I’M THE EASTER MURRAY. They love it!”.He is also involved with a London group as a ‘first responder’ for a service that offers to deliver food and other essential items to hospitals in and around London for NHS staff who are struggling to find the time and energy to go shopping themselves. This charity, which is organised via Facebook, is looking for a security system to protect its stock after thieves tried to steal food over the weekend. To donate to Murray’s Just Giving page click here.NHS Charities Together Murray Lee Dreamview Estates April 14, 2020Nigel LewisAny comments?
