Hanna Alberto Voted 2017-18 Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Year

Alberto finished second at the 2018 Southland Conference Women’s Golf Tournament in Montgomery, Texas, after winning three regular season tournaments as a sophomore. She led the Southland in scoring average per round at 72.73. First Team Central Arkansas and Lamar each picked up two spots. Emma Svensson and Fernanda Lira each earned automatic selections to the first team for the Bears after a season which saw the duo claim spots in the NCAA Tournament; the first time UCA has sent two individuals to the tournament.
